I did something similar last week. I turned down a teaching job I had been working toward and coveted. After I said yes, I couldn’t sleep. I realized my life would not be mine in a certain way. Too much commuting, and a ton of work I wouldn’t get compensated for. As soon as I said no I felt the weight of the world lift. Cheers to making the decisions that help us lead saner lives!
